ACET 2017 Spring Conference
April 19 - 21, 2017
Renaissance Austin Hotel

Welcome Presenters!

As many of you who are visiting this page know, the ACET Spring Conference is a large education conference that focuses on the needs of public, private, and public charter school districts in the areas of federal and state programs for economically disadvantaged and at-risk students.  In addition to the 3-4 large general sessions presented by lead administrators from the Texas Education Agency, we also provide multiple, smaller break-out sessions which tend to showcase school district "best practice" programs and services models from across the state in addition to the multiple TEA break-out sessions.  These break-out sessions, depending on their topic, will usually draw anywhere from 15 to 100 people per session. Here are a few examples of the topic areas typically covered in these sessions:

Accountability
Audits
Federal Programs Compliance
Fiscal Management
Intervention Systems for At-Risk Students
Managing Student Achievement & Progress
Parental Involvement
Private Non-Profit Schools
Program Management
School Improvement
State Compensatory Education
State Programs Compliance
Student Assessment

If you, your school, your school district, or ESC has a program or service delivery model that you would consider a "best practice" we encourage you to submit a Presenter Proposal form for our 2017 Spring Conference. Breakout sessions are scheduled for both Wednesday, April 19 and Thursday, April 20.  We're all in the "helping" business so please help by sharing what you do that has proven to be effective in improving your classroom, school, or district! Please click on the link below to download a copy of the form. (Submission deadline is February 10, 2017).
